WODEHOUSE, P. G. (1881-1975). Something Fresh. London: Methuen & Co. Ltd., 1915.  
First English edition. McIlvaine A18(b). Octavo. 18-leaf insert of publisher’s ads at end (marginal spotting). Original green cloth, spine and upper cover lettered in black (slightly cocked, extremities lightly rubbed, spine sligthly sunned, stain to lower cover, upper hinge cracked but holding).

— Blandings Castle and Elsewhere. London: Herbert Jenkins Limited, 1935. 
First edition. McIlvaine A53(a). Octavo. 4 leaves of publisher’s ads to verso (light spotting). Original blue cloth, spine and upper cover lettered, spine and lower cover with publisher’s device, all stamped in black (light edge wear, spine and edges faded); original dust-jacket with illustrations by Abbey (tiny nicks and creases, lightly marked, head of spine slightly frayed). Provenance: contemporary ownership inscription on front endpaper – Frits Menschaar (no internal evidence of provenance).

— Heavy Weather. London: Herbert Jenkins Limited, 1933.  
First English edition. McIlvaine A50(b). Octavo. Four leaves of publisher’s ads at end (a few leaves faintly spotted). Original blue cloth, spine and upper cover lettered and bordered in orange, spine and lower cover with publisher’s device stamped in orange (spine lightly faded); original dust-jacket designed by K B Studio, the freshness of the price on the spine perhaps suggesting the recent removal of an early sticker (spine ends frayed, some creases, closed tears and a few nicks, wear to folds). Provenance: Frits Menschaar (no internal evidence of provenance).

First Edition. McIlvaine A50(a). Octavo. Original black cloth, spine and upper cover decorated and titled in red; original pictorial dust-jacket (light creasing, spine ends and corner slightly worn).

First edition. McIlvaine A73(a). Octavo. Original grey boards, spine lettered in white (tailcap lightly bruised); original dust-jacket with illustration by Hurst (faintest wear to extremities). 

— Uncle Fred in the Springtime. New York: Doubleday, Doran & Co. Inc., 1939. 
First edition. McIlvaine A61(a). Octavo. Original green cloth, spine with decoration and title stamped in brown, untrimmed (top edge slightly sunned, spine ends lightly worn); original dust-jacket with illustration be Peggy Bacon (lightly rubbed and creased, long tear along front flap fold, several tape repairs to verso, spine ends a little frayed).

First English edition. McIlvaine A73(b). Octavo. Original red cloth, spine lettered in black and publisher’s devices stamped in black on lower cover (endpapers lightly browned); original dust-jacket (light wear to spine ends, tiny nicks to corners).

First English edition. McIlvaine A66(b). Octavo. (Marginal light spotting.) Original orange cloth, upper cover and spine with title, lower cover and spine with publisher’s device, all stamped in black (light fading and edgewear); original dust-jacket with cover by Frank Ford (extremities lightly soiled, a few tiny tears, creases and nicks to edges).

First edition. McIlvaine A66(a). Octavo. In-text illustrations by Paul Galdone. Original green boards, spine lettered in black (spnie ends just pushed); original dust-jacked with illustration by Galdone (spine slightly sunned, light edge wear and a few creases). Provenance: Hudson’s Bookshop, Detroit.

First English edition. McIlvaine A88(b). Octavo. Original red boards, spine lettered in gilt, lower board with publisher’s device stamped in blind; original dust-jacket by Payne (very faintly tanned).

First edition. McIlvaine A100(a). Octavo. Two full-page floorplans and one quarter page illustration. Original blue boards, spine lettered in gilt, illustrated endpapers (light edge wear); original price-clipped dust-jacket with illustrations by Ionicus (top edge very lightly tanned). Provenance: contemporary gift inscription to half-title.
