WODEHOUSE, P. G. (1881-1975). Mr Mulliner Speaking. London: Herbert Jenkins Limited, 1929. 
First edition. McIlvaine A40(a). Octavo. (A few tiny stains.) Original orange cloth, spine and upper cover lettered and ruled in black, spine and lower cover with publisher’s device stamped in black (spine a touch faded, small mark to upper cover, endpapers browned); original pictorial dust-jacket (spine ends and corners slightly frayed and chipped, a few creases, spine faded, slight wear to folds). Provenance: James H. Heineman (biographer of Wodehouse; bookplate) — Frits Menschaar (no internal evidence of provenance).

First edition. McIlvaine A38(a). Octavo. Four leaves of publisher’s ads at end (scattered spotting). Original green cloth, spine and upper cover with titles and border, spine and lower cover with publisher’s device, all stamped in black (lightly rubbed, white staining heaviest to lower cover); original dust-jacket with illustration by Galeis (a few chips including to backstrip with loss to a few letters of printed title, a few tears, some repaired with tape on verso, some creases, light soiling or staining). Provenance: Herbert Jenkins Colonial Library (library sticker to spine of dust-jacket) — Frits Menschaar (no internal evidence of provenance).

First edition. McIlvaine B5(a). Octavo. Photographic portrait frontispiece of the author. Original green cloth, upper cover and spine lettered, upper cover also decorated, lower cover with publisher’s device, all stamped in black, top edge stained blue (faintest rubbing to extremities, small fading to spine associated with price oval on dust-jacket); original dust-jacket with design by Abbey (lightly soiled, some light creasing and fraying to edges). Provenance: Frits Menschaar (no internal evidence of provenance).

First edition. McIlvaine A48(a). Octavo. Four leaves of publisher’s ads at end. Original orange cloth, upper cover and spine lettered in black, spine and lower cover with publisher’s device stamped in black (some minor stains); original dust-jacket with design by Abbey, ‘Colonial Library’ oversticker to spine (chipping to edges resulting in loss to lettering on upper and lower panel, large closed tear to upper panel repaired, rubbing to folds). Provenance: Berkelouw (bookseller’s ticket to front pastedown) -- Frits Menschaar (no internal evidence of provenance).
