Идея картины состоит в том, что иногда ради достижения мира приходится идти на определенные жертвы. Центральная фигура картины- Кентавр- существо из древнегреческой мифологии, но одежда и оружие у него восточного воина. Это попытка художника объединить Запад (кентавр) и Восток (одежда, оружие и типажи).
Здесь так же присутствует ангел, который как бы оберегает воина и которому известна истинная суть мироздания.
