Black wool, enlisted model tunic, four-button front, open-collar with silver-aluminum twist cord piping, French cuffs, scalloped and pleated breast pockets, scalloped flap hip pockets, silver pebbled buttons, two belt-ramp buttons at rear vent. Multi-piece red wool armband with black ribbed rayon tape borders, hand-applied. Cuff title of black band with 7-thread silver-aluminum borders, at centre Stab number "III" hand-embroidered in silver-aluminum wire thread, hand-applied. Single shoulder board of six twist aluminum cords on black wool backing, hand-applied and retained with silver pebbled button. Right regimental collar tab with sturm number "101" hand-embroidered in silver-aluminum thread on black backing with silver-aluminum twist cord piping. Left rank tab with three aluminum pips, black cloth backing with piping in silver-aluminum twist cord, both tabs hand-applied. Right sleeve with Honor Chevron of silver-aluminum tresse with two inner black stripes, hand-applied. Two loops on breast pocket for awards, loops above pocket for ribbon bar. Ostfront ribbon hand-applied to top buttonhole. Lined in black cotton with grey-brown sleeve linings, stamped with sizes and "VA 1938" at back, single inside breast pocket with black oil cloth SS/RZM tag. Black tricot wool breeches, five-button hidden fly, angled slit waist pockets with scalloped flaps and button closure, rear pocket with scalloped flap and button closure, elastic adjustable rear waist straps/buckles at each side, ankles with lace/eyelet closure.
