signed, numbered, dated and stamped with foundry mark 'Barbara Hepworth 1956 7/7/CAST 1967' (on the base)
bronze with a dark green and white patina
43 in. (109.2 cm.) wide
Conceived in concrete in 1956-59 and cast in bronze by Morris Singer Founders, London, in 1967.
This work is recorded as BH 453.

Provenance

with Gimpel Fils, London, where purchased by the present owner's father in 1968, and by descent.
