God the Father holding dead Christ, detail study after "The Holy Trinity" by Albrecht Dürer ( woodcut, 1511 ), pen and brown ink, on laid paper, with watermark "lily in escutcheon”, inscribed "Joannes Saeng.../ Anno 1654" at lower right, 13,8 x 10 cm, fixed to support, framed, ( Sch )

Provenance:
Collection Heinrich Beckmann, (1874-1940), Bremen (Lugt 2756a); private collection, Germany.

The present drawing is a detail copy after the woodcut by Albrecht Düer “Gnadenstuhl” (Holy Trinity) and may have been executed by an artist in the time of the socalled “Dürerrenaissance” around 1575. The inscription at the lower right margin may point to an owner of the drawing in the 17th century.

The buyer‘s premium shall be as follows:

■ up to an amount of EUR 100,000: 25% of the hammer price
■ for the amount exceeding EUR 100,000: 22%
■ for the amount exceeding EUR 600,000: 15%
In these cases the buyer‘s premium includes the statutory VAT
b) for fully taxable items (marked in the catalogue/in the description with the symbol „+“ for 20% VAT, with „–“ for 13% VAT or with „#“ for 10% VAT):
■ up to a hammer price of EUR 100,000: 20,84% of the hammer price
■ for the amount exceeding EUR 100,000: 18,34%
■ for the amount exceeding EUR 600,000: 12,5%
In the case under (b), the statutory VAT is calculated based on the total price (hammer price plus buyer‘s premium and a possible resale right royalty) and is added to the total price.
