Modèle uni à bordure moulurée de filets, comprenant: deux grandes boîtes dites carrés, chacune sur quatre pied consoles, les couvercles à charnière centrés d'un médaillon ovale, deux boîtes circulaires, deux autres boîtes identiques plus petites, deux flacons à parfum de section carrée et bouchons dévissables avec prise ailette, un porte-mouchettes , et un bougeoir à main, tous gravés du monogramme AS sous couronne sur les côtés et le couvercle, et sur les fonds du monogramme EA/Fs; poinçons sur les fonds, plateau du bougeoir à main, bases des flacons et couvercles des flacons: ville, titre, lettre-date et maître-orfèvre; dans le couvercle de boîtes circulaires : ville et maître-orfèvre; sur l'anse du bougeoir à main: ville; sur les bouchons: traces; numéroté sur tous les fonds 48

Le monogramme est celui d'Amelia Sophia Eleonora de Brunswick-Lunebourg (1711-1786), princesse de Grande-Bretagne, deuxième fille du roi Georges II.
Les initiales EA / Fs pour Ernest Augustus Fideikommis et le numéro 48 font référence aux inventaires d'Ernest Auguste I (1771-1851), roi de Hanovre, duc de Cumberland et cinquième fils de George III (1738-1820), roi du Royaume-Uni et de Hanovre.

Each plain with moulded borders, comprising: two large rectangular boxes with hinged covers, two medium circular boxes, two small circular boxes, two square section bottles, a snuffer stand and a chamberstick, all engraved with initials AS beneath a coronet and underneath with EA/Fs and number 48, fully marked
The monogram is that of Princess Amelia Sophia Eleonore of Great Britain (1711-1786) second daughter of King Georg II of Great Britain and Queen Caroline. The initials EA / Fs and the number translates as Ernest Augustus Fideikommis and refers to his inventories.

Amelia Sophia Eleonora was born in 1711 at Herrenhausen Palace in Hanover, Germany. She was the second daughter and the favorite of George Augustus (later George II) and his wife, Caroline of Brandenburg-Ansbach. She arrived in England in October 1714 with her parents and sisters, Anne and Caroline Elizabeth, following the accession of her grandfather, George I, to the throne.
After her mother’s death in 1737, Amelia became the highest-ranking woman at court. Unmarried, Amelia and her sister Caroline maintained their own households. Amelia's appointment as Ranger of Richmond Park in 1751 granted her the 'New Lodge' as her personal residence until 1761, when John Stuart, 3rd Earl of Bute, took over the position.
After losing her apartments at St. James's Palace following her father's death, Amelia purchased Gunnersbury House in Ealing, Middlesex, where she spent her later years before passing away at her home in Cavendish Square, London, on October 31, 1786.
In her will, dated December 24, 1786, she bequeathed her gilt dressing service to her niece, Wilhelmina, Landgravine of Hesse:
"I give and bequeath to my niece Wilhelmina Land Garvine of Hesse my gilt Dressing plate and Toilett..."
The service later became part of the collection of the Duke of Cumberland and King of Hanover, Ernest Augustus I, whose initials EA / Fs (for Ernest Augustus Fideikommis) and the number 48 were engraved on the pieces in reference to his inventories.
