The pocket watch has a so-called "in-line" date, i.e. the month, date and day of the week are displayed in a single window instead of on several sub-dials.

We are proud to be able to present you with this rarity from the house of Patek Philippe which is rich in traditions. This watch is one of only two white gold versions of this model. The only other known example was sold by Sotheby's Geneva in May 2016 for 472,000 Swiss francs. Under the description of lot 227, it says that the whereabouts of the second watch are currently unknown. Now the twin of this watch has surfaced, which differs in some respects from the watch offered at Sotheby's. The first thing you notice when you look at it is the double-signed dial, which gives a clue to the history of the watch. As a special order, the clock was made at the oldest specialist shop in Switzerland, the Beyer company in Zurich. In addition, the days of the week are indicated in German on this clock, so that it is a genuine one-of-a-kind piece.
Condition B:
Movement: very good condition.
Dial: very good condition, slightly oxidised, oxidised original hands.
Case: good condition, slightly scratched, traces of wear, original chain.
