Watercolour and opaque paints on ivory. Image size: 7.1 x 5.9 cm (in the high oval) cm. Brass frame. Mounted in a hinged brass case with inserted leather that can also be used as a frame (8.8 x 7.3 cm) with stand. Signs of wear and tear.
Viktoria war die einzige Tochter von Herzog Ferdinand von Sachsen-Coburg-Koháry (1785-1851) und Erbrpinzessin Maria Antonie Gabriele von Koháry (1797-1862). 1840 heiratete sie in Saint-Cloud Louis d'Orléans, duc de Nemours (1814 Palais Royal, Paris - 1896 Versailles). Der Ehe entstammten vier Kinder.
