My name is Ekaterina Zhuchenko, creative pseudonym RedHeadKat.
I have been an artist from an early age. Dad's sketchbook was the greatest treasure. Then I had not dreamed of writing yet
oil. A large set of watercolors in a white plastic box was often secretly taken from the shelf for my
naive art. The thick squirrel brush gave an unforgettable tactile sensation.
But I was able to forget about it "becoming an adult".
I am grateful to the people who helped me return everything. At some point, I realized that I couldn’t stop it. The same set of watercolors, already replenished with new shades. It
became my frequent joy. And oil painting is my discovery and a way to restore connection with my family and father.

Using basic techniques of academic drawings and paintings Evgeniya works in such styles of the visual art as realism, impressionism, futurism. Emphasized freedom of opinion, transformation of the reality through her personal prism of perception of the outside world and its uniqueness in all aspects and emotions fill her work.
This is the only way to achieve high results in progress. Since childhood, I learned to draw on my own, since studying at an art school was expensive for my parents, I received a musical education that instilled in me a love of classical music. Continuing to paint her paintings in watercolor, she went to study in Moscow. After studying at the Moscow Academic Art School in 2011, I paint Oil Paintings. Now I work as an Artist, I paint Paintings to Order, compose music and raise three children: Konstantin, Elizabeth and Eugene. I live in the longest city in Europe, Krivoy Rog, Ukraine.
I work in several styles. My abstract paintings were written under the influence of Mark Rothko, Gerhard Richter.
The general style gravitates towards simplicity and minimalism.
There are favorite colors: gray, red, black, blue, green.
For people of the Soviet post-space, there is a mini series about hedgehogs in the fog, something native from the past.
There is also love of pop art, also a small series so far, but there is an over distinctive feature of the series, in addition to black and white, I use real sparkles that glisten effectively under bright light. This is pop culture after all! Must be catchy!

I was born in 1973.01.05 in a family where art education was a priority, my father being an artist. Art becoming the most natural way of expression for me.
I am a dedicated artist and involved in the current cultural activity, with a dynamic experience, polished in the artistic centers of Chisinau, Cluj, Iasi and Bucharest. Through personal and group exhibitions organized in recent years, I have proposed to the public more and more fresh works connected to the development and the level of contemporary society. Through a pictorial approach built on solid exercises, developed from the formal tradition to formal creation, I have outlined a sensitive message that tenaciously affirms its own artistic creed.
I generally practice abstract painting, sometimes introduce figurative elements. The preferred material is oil or acrylic on canvas or paper.
Painting is an expression of freedom, it is the way to be, it is the moment when time stops, the escape and the connection to the fluid course of some energies becomes the act of appearance and conception of the image.
