Джеймс Ли Байарс (англ. James Lee Byars) — американский концептуальный художник и перформансист, специализирующийся на инсталляциях и скульптурах, а также самосознательный мистик. Он был наиболее известен благодаря использованию личных эзотерических мотивов и своей творческой личности, которую описывали как «наполовину дендифицированного трикстера и наполовину минималистского провидца».
Среди известных перформансов Байарса — «Смерть Джеймса Ли Байарса» и «Идеальная улыбка», а среди многочисленных скульптур — множество написанных им писем, которые были оформлены в виде скульптур.
