by Ross of London ("Ross London. 2000" engraved at base of instrument), in original lockable mahogany box bearing the name "J.D. Hooker", with accompanying lenses and magnifiers in two small fitted boxes, and small wooden ruler, light wear to instrument and box, small fitted boxes rubbed, with lid of one box detached, mahogany box lacking key, with lid starting to split
