Biography - Maka Kvartskhava was born in 1981, Tbilisi - capital of Georgia.
Before starting Painting She was writing short stories, assays, which she used to call "footprints of my inner life and my dreams".
Then came time when her inspirations took her at the edge of Art and her inner opportunity knocked from inside, so she decided to build a door and to take her first steps in colorful world of Art.
So Artist's assays and stories became expressed in drawings and paintings and still she calls her paintings a kind of short stories about her and emotions that surrounds and that are inspired inner and outer world of life.
Artist with the inevitable influences of the creative movements that she develops with her own style.
Graduated from the State University of International law and relations and after few years of working in this field she realized, - Her home is where her heART is.
Her works are sold in independent galleries and privately, while developing the style and technique that she has today.
Works mostly in oil;

For Maka Stillwhite Art is inner and outer therapy, which helps her to look through our being and by the help of God it's a tool to search inside and discover the source of complete freedom, peace and hope.
It s very appreciated that her artworks may become the source of inspiration and positive emotions for other people, though her main massage lies beyond this and is directed to each person's inner treasure - Soul, as the main victory expects us in the point where besides weakness or healthiness of our body, heart is filled with love, mind filled up with hope and spirit with peace.

Занимаюсь проектированием и архитектурным надзором промышленных ,жилищных, торгово- развлекательных объектов, оформлением и выполнением дизайнерских работ (эскизы, рисунки от руки, роспись на стенах, барельеф, витражи), а также разработкой и рабочими чертежами индивидуальной мебели и кованых изделий (ворота, ограда, решетки, люстры, бра и т.д.). В Ереване 1977-1992 г.г. организовал детскую художественную студию «Ачкабац» или «Глазастик», где научил детей снимать страх перед рисованием, гармонизировать пространство вокруг себя и преодолеть внутреннее волнение. Во время работы с детьми сформировалась интересная методика , о которой в 1988 г. был снят документальный фильм и написаны статьи в разных газетах. Большой опыт по росписи на стенах, где рисунки получаются не только объёмными, но и динамичными. А персонажи в рисунках нарисованы и построены таким образом, что мы имеем возможность увидеть одновременно всех героев на четырёх стенах только из одной точки.

About creativity:
“I have developed my own painting technique on transparent fabrics such as organza. This is not batik, but color graphics and painting on fabric. I also work in other techniques and with different materials: pastel, acrylic, oil, watercolor, etc.
Recently, I have been researching movement and pulsation: forms, lines and points in abstract painting and in space, as well as their architectonics. I developed my own technique and style, working with line and point, namely with drops of paint, which I then stretch into lines of different thicknesses. This is my conceptual idea for my abstract painting. Its origin lies in my works in the style of Khokhloma and Zhostovo, on which I worked in the 70s of the 20th century.

Затем переехали в столицу Молдавии город Кишинев. Там я закончил 8 классов средней школы, музыкальную и художественную школы и поступил в Республиканское художественно-педагогическое училище имени И.Е.Репина. В 1991 году закончил училище с красным дипломом и поступил на художественно-графический факультет педагогического института имени Карла Маркса в городе Смоленск. Институт закончил в 1996 году и с того времени занимаюсь живописью, графикой, декором и дизайном интерьеров.
I was born in Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod) in 1972 in a family of teachers. At the age of 6 years our family moved to Moldova, the city of Bendery, where I went to school and finished five classes. Then we moved to Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. There I finished 8 classes of high school, music and art schools and entered the Republican Art College named after I. E. Repin. In 1991 after graduating from this college with honors I entered the art and graphic faculty of the Pedagogical Institute named after Karl Marx in Smolensk. I graduated from the Institute in 1996 and since then have been engaged in painting, graphics, decor and interior design.

My paintings represent my inner world in all its manifestations, my vision of the real world, this is my attitude to what's around. I began to paint in watercolors during the civil war in my country. It was a difficult time, I worked on the back page of postcards, photographs, magazine covers and on any white piece of paper. Friends actively provided me with these materials. Despite my external and internal difference, my paintings have many common secrets that I am gladly sharing with you. The first secret - most of my artworks are painted with a rough and stiff brush, which is still the favorite one. The second secret is that the pictures can be viewed in the usual way, but most of them can be seen from 2, 3 and even 4 sides, and almost always a different story appears before you. The third secret - There is no real image of any real place or object in my watercolors. I paint what excites me at the moment. The fourth secret - There are watercolors with verses. Fifth secret - Visitors to my personal exhibitions noted that my paintings have a beneficial and healing effect on their internal state: they calm, make you think. Do not look for the places depicted on the map, and tickets are not sold there. These places are in my soul, and I just give them to you. If my paintings (even their fragments) brought you pleasure, peace, good and a little sadness, I will be happy at the thought that there is someone who needs it.
In my miniatures, you can feel the inseparable unity of the universe and mankind. They have life-affirming origins. I clearly hold the idea that the striving for unity with nature and the harmony of its laws allows one to see the world differently, in the way I see it. As if a stealing a look into the secrets of existence and its cosmic infinities, we see the astonishing combination of colors, blazing during the rising and setting of the sun.

I was born in 1973.01.05 in a family where art education was a priority, my father being an artist. Art becoming the most natural way of expression for me.
I am a dedicated artist and involved in the current cultural activity, with a dynamic experience, polished in the artistic centers of Chisinau, Cluj, Iasi and Bucharest. Through personal and group exhibitions organized in recent years, I have proposed to the public more and more fresh works connected to the development and the level of contemporary society. Through a pictorial approach built on solid exercises, developed from the formal tradition to formal creation, I have outlined a sensitive message that tenaciously affirms its own artistic creed.
I generally practice abstract painting, sometimes introduce figurative elements. The preferred material is oil or acrylic on canvas or paper.
Painting is an expression of freedom, it is the way to be, it is the moment when time stops, the escape and the connection to the fluid course of some energies becomes the act of appearance and conception of the image.
